I really like to write. I kept 12 composition notebooks my sophomore year of high school, a Google-blog my junior year and this year I have resorted back to another online blog (here). Today I decided to get a new notebook and starting today, writing is becoming personal again. Not something that I have to show the world, something that can help get me through my life.

if you’re from chicago, you know what this is. Lake Shore Drive. or as we the natives like to call it, LSD. and basically, it is. anywhere on this road is one of my favorite spots in the city, especially at night.

picture it: it’s late at night. you’re in your car with your favorite song playing. it’s the end of an amazing night. no traffic. you’re heading north. you look to your left: a gorgeous city skyline. you look to your right: lake Michigan. complete darkness.

Yes.

I lost the idea of who I was, but some how the memories we had this summer came to life again. I found a notebook that I kept all my secrets in for three months of summer. It made me feel so refreshed. The photographs, notes from people across the world and the weird activities we were involved in made me want to cry, I miss the days when things were simpler. Lets all start over again.

Back home the first snow is falling.

 I think it is going to not stick, it is too light. But the snowing has picked up. Winters in Chicago are my favorite.  It kinda came late this year though…
